You've come to us for a quote to repair your vehicle.....
What happens next?
Whether your car is towed in to us or you drive it in yourself, we will get the ball rolling without delay.

Assessing damage & preparing quote.
Then the damage is assessed and photographed by one of our experienced estimators. Once we have prices for any parts and sublets required, the quote is prepared and submitted to your insurer, or if not claiming on your insurance, quote will be sent to you.
Authorisation and Booking
Once we have received authorisation from your insurer to proceed with repairs, we will add your job to our schedule and contact you with booking dates. If you are undertaking repairs privately, you authorise repairs yourself, so the process can go much quicker.
*Please note that additional damage might be detected after the car is disassembled for repair. If this happens, we will deal with all the extra paperwork and seek approval before starting work.
Parts Ordering
When we know what parts have been authorised, we will order them. For common makes and models, parts can arrive within a few days; however for imported vehicles, this process can take longer. We will keep you informed of any delays in the ordering process.
Please note that if we are waiting on parts from suppliers, waiting periods in most cases can vary from a few days to a few weeks.
Checking In Process
When your car is delivered to us for repairs to commence, a staff member will complete a routine check of your vehicle, and confirm with you all work that has been authorised and also any extra work you have requested. Keys are tagged and job sheet attached to vehicle so our technicians can get right to work. If required you will be driven to your next destination.
Disassembly
- Parts are mirror matched to ensure 100% accuracy;
- Any discrepancies are sorted out immediately;
- Parts are removed from car according to the job sheet;
- An assessment is made if hidden damage is found after disassembly.
- Office staff will advise you and or Insurance assessor & get authority for before carrying out any additional repairs.
Structural & Panel Repair
Once we know exactly what needs to be done, our expert team will repair any damage to your chassis or panels. We use the latest tools and technologies to ensure the repaired portion is literally as good as new, if not better. A detailed quality control check is conducted at this stage before proceeding to the paint shop.
Preparation for Painting
After all the panels are repaired, your vehicle is taken to a prep bay where the sanding and masking is carried out before priming.
Priming
Before applying the required coats of paint and lacquer, we prime the surface to ensure a level base coat that will help the paint adhere to the body. Once this is complete, we allow it to dry before sanding it flat again and diligently inspecting it for quality control.
Colour matching
The baslac® Effective Color Finder 2 is the best color tool in the market. The system contains more than 4,500 original-sprayed color chips, helping to identify the right color for your repair.
Painting
Once we have mixed the paint and made sure it’s the exact right colour and consistency to seamlessly blend with the existing paint, your vehicle travels spray booth for painting. The refinish booths we use are fully air filtered and vented, and allow for extremely fast yet consistent spray work.
Before advancing to the next step, we painstakingly check every single vehicle for quality control. If there are any imperfections in the finish, we go back and repeat the process until it’s perfect.
Drying
When your new paint job is fully hardened and cured it is checked again. If there are any flaws, the paint is reapplied and the process is repeated.
Reassembly
Once everything is repaired and painted, we will reassemble your vehicle and clean the repaired area. The job is pretty much finished at this point – all that is left is the final stage of quality control and safety checks.
Quality Control, Safety Checks and Completion
Before any vehicle leaves the workshop, it undergoes a thorough final check. Our specialist team go back over every detail, making sure that your vehicle is truly as good as new, if not better. We guarantee all workmanship for at least 12 months, and any installed parts are also covered by their applicable manufacturer’s warranty.
Once your vehicle has passed our stringent quality control and safety checks, we will contact you to let you know it is ready for collection.
